Review of Mid-Year Performance of Wahtung Engineering Department in 2021

Half of 2021 has quietly passed, and in the first half of the year, our Engineering Department has completed project services for over a hundred ships. This includes over 50 projects for scrubber  supervision, commissioning, and after-sales services, as well as over 60 projects for ballast water systems. Among them, there were over 70 ship retrofitting projects and over 20 new ship construction projects. It is expected that the second half of the year will see a small peak in the commissioning of ballast water new builds and retrofitting projects in July and August.

Currently, the MSC hybrid scrubber project is a key project for the Engineering Department, mainly distributed in Changhong, Xinya, and other shipyards. The Engineering Department will formulate engineer resource allocation plans based on the work plan for the second half of the year to better accomplish the project schedule.
