From October 24th to 27th, the Korea Maritime Exhibition(KORMARINE), which had been interrupted for three years due to the Covid-19, was grandly opened in BEXCO, Busan. Major suppliers in the global maritime industry showcased their latest products. At the same time, the 25th Panasia Field Engineer Training Course was also held at the South Korean headquarters.
In order to stay updated on the latest cutting-edge technologies in the maritime industry, explore possibilities for multi-dimensional and in-depth cooperations, as well as enhance and showcase the technical expertise of our engineers, our company dispatched a large business and engineering team to attend Kormarine and Panasia Training Course in Busan.
During the conference, we visited Panansia Korean Headquarter, and had a warm meeting with SooTae Lee, Chairman of Panasia’s Board and Peter Yoon, president of Panasia.
Mr.SooTae Lee warmly welcomed our company's arrival. He mentioned that over the past three years, the entire shipbuilding and ship repair industry has faced significant challenges due to complex international environments such as Covid-19 and wars. However, Panasia and Wahtung have built a close and trusting relationship through years of cooperation.We have been able to understand and meet the needs of their customers, overcome difficulties together, and deliver excellent results to our clients. This is highly commendable and deserving of appreciation and recognition.
Looking ahead, Mr. SooTae Lee expressed that environmental protection and new energy remain new growth points in the Marine equipment market. Panasia is actively promoting the preparation of a series of new products such as methanol fuel system, ammonia fuel system, hydrogen fuel system and carbon capture system, and will be fully launched into the market in the near future.

At Kormarine, our business team actively sought out opportunities and proactively engaged with numerous brand manufacturers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest products and technologies in the market. We had in-depth discussions and meetings in areas such as sales and engineering, and reached further cooperation intentions with multiple manufacturers.
Meanwhile, the 25th Panasia Field Engineer Training Course was held as scheduled. Our engineering team actively participated in theoretical and practical training sessions on products such as EGCS and BWTS, along with over 30 engineers from seven countries around the world. They gained insights into many new equipment and technologies.
After 5 days of theoretical training and practical reinforcement, all of our engineers successfully passed the examination conducted by Panasia headquarters and received certificates issued by the headquarters. The engineers demonstrated a high level of comprehensive skills, which was highly appreciated by Panasia headquarters.

On October 28th, Kormarine and training successfully concluded, making this trip to Korea worthwhile.
