Wahtung Marine Limited Marine Engineering Equipment Research Institute Established! And a joint research and development project is signed with JUST's Computer Science College!

On December 18th, 2023, an auspicious event occurred, bringing good luck! Wahtung Marine Limited's Marine Engineering Equipment Research Institute was officially established! Furthermore, the joint research and development project with the School of Computer Science at Jiangsu University of Science and Technology has been successfully signed!

In recent years, Wahtung has made steady progress, starting from an agent for ship equipment sales, then venturing into green ship retrofitting projects, and eventually manufacturing our own brand of offshore-specific cable brackets. We have not only established a comprehensive sales and service network for ship equipment domestically and internationally but also built our own brand. Additionally, we have established a subsidiary in Singapore and actively expanded into overseas markets. Moreover, we have nurtured a large number of professionals with expertise in shipbuilding and marine engineering.

The establishment of the Marine Engineering Equipment Research Institute is an important milestone in our journey towards innovative development and a concrete action towards driving industry progress! The functions of our institute are twofold. On one hand, we research new regulations and intensify efforts to seek cooperation with foreign partners who possess new technologies and products. On the other hand, we integrate resources and develop suitable new products. Through the establishment of the research institute, we will gather outstanding talents and resources from both within and outside the industry, strengthen our technological research and development, and enhance our innovation capabilities, making greater contributions to the industry's development.

Jiangsu University of Science and Technology is a university jointly established by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Limited. It is also the leading unit of the China Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Industry Intellectual Property Alliance and the Jiangsu Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering University Alliance for Collaborative Development.
